Brenda
& Miles
Brenda
and Miles were both born and raised in Tipton, IN.
They both attended Tipton Schools where they fell in love. In the fall of 1968, Miles enlisted in the United States
Marine Corps and completed Basic Training.
The following year, he did a tour in the Vietnam War from March through
June of 1969. Upon returning from
Vietnam that fall, Miles proposed to his Brenda Sue.
Their wedding was on December 23rd of that same year.
Then the following year, 1970, they were blessed with Miles Jr., who was
born on the base, while they were stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
The next four years were "hell", until "Princess"
Kelly came along in 1975. Brenda
and Miles moved to the LaGrange area in the same year.
Over
the years, Brenda and Miles touched many people in the LaGrange Community.
From being known as "Mom and Dad" to many of Miles Jr. and
Kelly's friends to placing many family and friends before their needs.
When Miles Jr. married Anne, they became "Grandma and Grandpa",
something they truly could not wait for. This
is when "Princess Kelly" relinquished her throne to "Princess
Allison". Anyone who knew
Brenda and Miles, realized how much Allison was their life.
Brenda
and Miles had a special way of always being there when they were needed by
either family or friends. They will
be greatly missed and will always be remembered.
